We do our best to know who people are before we bring them on the team. That's why we have an extensive training process that includes a career personality test too.

Who will be cleaning my home?
Full-time employees of Cleandae that work in teams of two will clean your home. We don't use subcontractors or part time employees.
Our employees are committed members of the Cleandae team. Almost 50% have been with us for 5 plus years. Cleaning your home is not just a job to us. It's part of our greater mission – give a professional home cleaning experience that you can rely on.
Can I provide special instructions to the cleaning team?
Yes you can, but it's best to contact the office to do so. This allows us to put those instructions on your account, ensuring a consistent, hassle-free clean each visit.
Can I get the same team each time?
Absolutely! We already try to do this by default. Just let us know when you sign up you'd like the same team each time and we can make that happen. Our teams like it this way too.
Because of sickness and vacation, there may be days when your team is not available. If you've requested the same team for each visit, we'll let you know when that happens.
What if I’m not happy with the team cleaning my home?
We have more than 25 teams. We can always change your cleaning team to find a good fit for you.
I work from home. Can I still get stuff done while the team is cleaning?
Yes you can. We clean your home in a professional and efficient way so you can get more stuff done. Your home environment is treated with respect. There's no loud music, talking on a cell phone, or joking around from the team while they're in your home.

I’m hesitant to have new people I don’t know in my home. How do you handle this?

Yes you are. We're fully insured for both property damage and employee injury while working in your home. This means you're protected, and you won't have to worry about unexpected liabilities.
It's important to note that not all cleaning services provide this level of assurance. Many individuals or smaller companies may lack insurance, leaving homeowners vulnerable.

What happens if something is damaged while cleaning?
We take every measure to make sure accidents don't happen, but if they do, we always take full responsibility. We are proactive. We'll let you know if something needs your attention. We'll also make it right for you – no matter what.
Pricing and payments
How is my home priced?
Since 2015, we've cleaned over 100,000 homes, so we're able to give you an estimate you can trust.
Your estimate depends on:
● the size of your home
● the frequency you choose
● the number of pets you have
● the condition of your home
● your choice of add-ons
This lets us estimate how much time we need to clean your home and give you a price.
I don’t need my whole home cleaned. Can I do a partial cleaning?
You sure can. Have an upstairs that does not get used often? Want to rotate the cleaning spaces of your home? We can create a cleaning plan to fit your needs and budget.
If you sign up online, just let us know in the comments section what your needs are. We'll reach out to get you an adjusted plan and price. Or give us a call, and we'll find a way to take care of your cleaning needs.
Why is recurring pricing discounted?
Great question! We offer discounted pricing for recurring cleanings because it allows us to provide you with not just a clean home but a consistently maintained one. When you choose our recurring service, you commit to a regular schedule, allowing us to optimize our team's routes and plan efficiently. This predictability means we can offer you a discounted rate as we can plan and allocate resources more effectively.
Unlike one-time cleanings, where the level of cleanliness is variable and scheduling can be more challenging, recurring cleanings allow us to streamline our operations. The commitment to a regular cleaning schedule benefits you with a lower price, knowing that your home will be taken care of consistently. We value the trust you place in us for ongoing services, and this discount is our way of showing appreciation for that commitment.
Could I be charged any rescheduling fees?
We know life happens and sometimes you need to cancel or move your cleaning day. Just let us know by 3 PM the day before your visit and we can make it happen. We don’t like to charge fees, but if you need to cancel after 3 PM the day before your visit, you can do so with the $40 late cancellation fee.
Could I be charged any cancellation fees?
Absolutely not! We believe in keeping things simple and transparent.
Unlike some services that may tie you into contracts or charge hefty cancellation fees, we don't believe in those practices. At Cleandae, there are no long-term commitments or hidden fees.
However, we do have a nominal $69 charge if you choose to cancel your recurring visits before the second cleaning. This charge is designed to bring your initial cleaning cost more in line with our one-time cleaning price. We understand that circumstances can change, and we want to make the process as straightforward as possible. Our focus is on providing you with the flexibility you need, without any unnecessary complications.
Should I tip the housekeepers?
Great question! While tipping is not required, it is always appreciated. Our team works hard to ensure your home is cleaned to the highest standards, and if you feel inclined to show your appreciation through a tip, it is a kind gesture that our housekeepers truly value.
In terms of the American cultural norm, tipping in the home cleaning industry is customary, but we want to emphasize that it's entirely at your discretion. We don't want our customers to feel obligated, and your decision to tip or not will not impact the level of service you receive. Our primary goal is to make your experience with us exceptional, and your satisfaction is what matters most.
When will you charge my credit card?
Your card on file will be charged around 10:30 am the day after your cleaning visit.

Well, you can definitely expect a clean home when we're done. :)
Your Cleandae cleaning team will arrive during the time window on your account, and will bring all the supplies needed to deliver a professional home cleaning. They will leave after completing the cleaning checklist for your home, and you’ll be billed electronically within 24 hours.

Do I need to provide any supplies?
No need to worry about supplies! We bring all the necessary equipment and cleaning supplies with us.
If you have any specific products you'd like us to use, just let the office know before your visit. We'd be happy to do so.

How many housekeepers do you send to clean?
We send a team of two housekeepers to clean your home.
We've found that this duo approach not only ensures thorough cleaning but also maximizes efficiency. With two skilled professionals, your home gets the attention it deserves without taking up your entire day.
Is there something you don’t clean?
These are some things we don't clean:

What’s the difference in a move-in clean and a move-out clean?
The main difference between a move-in clean and a move-out clean is in the pricing structure and the inclusion of deep clean add-ons.
With our move-in clean, you enjoy a flat rate, providing transparency and predictability. It covers our standard cleaning, and you have the option to add any deep clean extras for an even deeper clean if desired. Learn more about our move-in clean here.

Can my pets be home during the cleaning?
Yes they can. We're pet friendly and can clean with your pets in the home. It is best to secure your pet if they don’t like strangers in their home or can be aggressive. This allows the cleaning team to focus on cleaning your home efficiently and also reduces your pet’s fear about other people in their home.

Can I change my regular day that you visit?
You sure can. Just let us know what day works for you and we'll get it done.
Can I reschedule my visit?
Yes you can. We know life happens and sometimes you need to reschedule your cleaning. Just let us know by 4 PM the day before your visit and we can make it happen. We don’t like to charge fees, but if you need to cancel after 4 PM the day before your visit, you can do so with the $40 late cancellation fee.
How do I stop my recurring service?
Just let us know by phone, text, or email that you need to stop you recurring cleaning visits.
There are no contracts when you choose Cleandae.
However, we do have a nominal $69 charge if you choose to cancel your recurring visits before the second cleaning. Do you offer specific appointment times?
We don't offer appointment times. We offer an arrival window time of two hours and we're pretty good at keeping that. If the arrival window time changes during the day we'll let you know.
What if my scheduled clean falls on a holiday?
If you cleaning day falls on a holiday (New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day) we'll reach out beforehand to see if the day before or the day after will work for you.
Home access and entry
Do I need to be home to let the cleaning team in?
No you don't. 75% of Cleandae customers are not home when we clean. They'll leave a key in a secret place or give us a code to unlock the door. After we clean, we lock up as instructed.
Of course, if you want to be home to let the team in that is possible too. Just let us know what works best for you and we'll make it happen.
How will I know what time or when you’re coming to clean my home?
We'll always keep you in the know about your upcoming visit so you can plan your day. You'll get a reminder email two days before your cleaning visit and a text reminder the day before. On the day of your cleaning, you'll get a text when we're on our way to your home, usually about 20-30 mins before we arrive.
How will the cleaning team enter my home?
You can leave us a key in a secret place, give us a code to the door, or be home to let the team in. Whatever works best for you we can do.
